About this Event
Spend an evening with Elisabeth Easther as she chats all about her debut novel, Seed - from the writing process, to friendship, to fertility and family in the modern world. There will be a Q&A session and an opportunity to have books signed.
Elisabeth Easther is an accomplished actor, journalist, and award-winning playwright from Hamilton. She is best known for her memorable role as Nurse Carla on Shortland Street and for hosting the acclaimed remake of the 1960s television series Islands of the Gulf. A prolific book reviewer, Elisabeth’s work has featured on RNZ National, Cleo Magazine, TimeOut London, The NZ Herald, and The NZ Listener.
Her latest novel, Seed—from the publishers behind Marian Keyes and Dolly Alderton—is both hilarious and insightful, posing the compelling question: How far would you go to get a life?
