The Author Series Committee at the Detroit Public Library welcomes bestselling author Daniel Silva and his wife, journalist Jamie Gangel, for a special discussion about Daniel's latest book in the Gabriel Allon series: Ransom (Harper, 2026). In the 26th book of the Gabriel Allon series, the art restorer and retired spy searches for a missing British socialite and uncovers dark secrets about her billionaire husband.

Partnering with DPL to provide copies of Ransom is Book Beat in Oak Park.

About Daniel: Daniel Silva is an award-winning #1 New York Times bestselling author. He has written 29 novels and is best known for his Gabriel Allon series. His books are critically acclaimed and have been translated into more than thirty languages. His most recent work, An Inside Job was another instant #1 New York Times bestseller.
