Meet local award-winning author and founder of the Word of South Festival of Literature and Music Mark Mustian for a special author signing and book talk celebrating his novel "Boy with Wings."
Boy With Wings is the story of a boy, well, with wings, who ends up in a freak show traveling the South in the 1930s. It touches on issues of race and religion, but more than anything on what it means to be different.
In addition to winning awards in historical fiction, literary fiction and paranormal fiction, BOY WITH WINGS won the 2025 Next Generation Indie Book Awards Grand Prize for Fiction.
