LEGACY OF PRIDE: STONEWALL is a fantasy roleplay book by local author JL Wright. JL says, "I wrote this book to remember the Stonewall Uprising and to teach the history of Pride and the various LGBTQIA+ Queer movements that took place before and after the Stonewall Uprising by playing a popular fantasy roleplaying game. The book weaves real-world history into a fantasy adventure that is meant to reinforce lessons or raise awareness about issues and figures in our Queer history. The book is half fantasy adventure, and half non-fiction, Queer Obscura that has never made it into the history books. Itβs geared towards adults and older teens." π²πCome by Pearl's Books on Sunday, June 14, from 1-3 p.m. to meet JL and buy your copy of the book. We'll also have a playthrough of the game, hosted by JL, in July! More details to come.
