Join local author Peter Belz for a reading from his memoir Working Titles: Memoir of an American Hustler, followed by a question-and-answer discussion with the audience.Told through sixty-six different jobs across several decades, the book explores working-class life, survival, reinvention, and the strange paths people take just to stay afloat. From restaurants and bars to trucking, small business ownership, and everything in between, Belz traces a life built shift by shift.
Peter will read selected passages, talk about the writing process, and take questions from the audience. Copies of Working Titles will be available for purchase and signing after the discussion.
