About this Event
Slavery and Colonization has affected the Black and African communities on the Continent and in the Diaspora. These systems have made significant impact on how these communities see themselves and interact with each other. In recognizing and acknowledging that there has been longlasting damage, what does internal reparations look like? How do we hold each other accountable to the process of much needed healing and repair to ensure the development of healthy families, communities and nations.
This is a Book Signing Event that centers community and culture. The audience is invited to join Author, Zoe Sarabo and Moderator Denise TrimbleSmith of Courageous Conversations in a much needed discussion centered around key areas necessary to aide in our healing, growth and repair of centuries of damage.
