Parnassus Books and Montgomery Bell Academy are thrilled to present an afternoon with Alex Snodgrass, in conversation with Amanda Frederickson, as they discuss Amanda's new book, Everyday Eats: 100 Simple and Healthy Recipes for Real Life .

This ticketed event will be held in Montgomery Bell Academy's Dead Poets Society Room, located in the Mary Helen Lowry Building (close to the South Wilson entrance). The event will be held on Saturday, August 29th at 2:00 PM, with doors opening at 1:00 PM.

Tickets:

Each ticket is $41.00 and includes one general admission seat and one signed copy of Everyday Eats. Additional signed copies of Everyday Eats will be available for sale while supplies last. There will be a signing line for personalizations directly following the event.

Parking:

Parking is free on the MBA campus. The closest garage is located at 205 South Wilson Boulevard (East side of MBA's campus). You may also park in the Vine Street Church parking lot or in any of the surface lots on campus.

About the author:

Alex Snodgrass is a recipe developer, health enthusiast, and founder of the popular blog and social media outlet The Defined Dish. Her first three books, The Defined Dish, The Comfortable Kitchen, and Dinner Tonight, were instant New York Times bestsellers. Her recipes use better-for-you ingredients and are known for being simple, easy, and full of flavor. In 2018 she was recognized as a finalist in the prestigious Saveur magazine Blog Awards in the category of "Most Inspired Weeknight Meals." In 2022, Alex launched her multipurpose dressing line, SideDish, to further make mealtime easier and more delicious; now available nationwide at Whole Foods Market. About Amanda Frederickson:

Amanda Frederickson is a professional cook, food stylist, and author of The Staub Cookbook and Simple Beautiful Food. She attended San Francisco Cooking School and after working at one of San Francisco's Michelin-starred restaurants, SPQR, landed in the Williams-Sonoma Test Kitchen, where she developed recipes, tested products, and co-wrote eleven Williams-Sonoma Test Kitchen cookbooks.
