Glenelg Libraries is delighted to welcome Ballarat-based journalist and author Adam McNicol for two special events celebrating the latest book from Ten Bag Press, The Western District: A journey through south-west Victoria.
McNicol, founder of Ten Bag Press and author of several regional histories including The Mallee and The Wimmera, will share stories and insights from this beautiful photographic and written documentary exploring the small towns of south-west Victoria, including both Casterton and Portland.
Following the railway lines through the Western District, the book captures the history and character of communities like Beeac, Bessiebelle, Digby, Camperdown, Koroit, Merino, Terang, and many others in between.
These events are a wonderful opportunity to share in the stories that make our region unique.
