About this Event
Christina Gerhardt speaks on her book , which includes essays, maps, art and poetry showing island nations in a warming world. Low-lying islands are least responsible for climate change, but are suffering the brunt of it. This atlas reorients your vantage point to center these islands, highlighting Indigenous and Black voices and the work of communities taking action for local and global climate justice.
NOTE: This program takes place in the Latino Room (lower level).
