Join us for an evening of celebration and networking with the Australian games industry.

Games industry professionals are invited to attend this curated, premium showcase of games from Australian studios representing the incredible range of talent and creativity down under. This showcase + mixer is aimed at developers, publishers, investors, and platform holders to connect or reconnect with Australian studios.

We're indie game devs, and we're for indie game devs.

We began hosting casual Indie BYOG events to provide game creators with the opportunity to showcase their projects at prestigious industry events around the world.

We provide a space where established and emerging developers can showcase their unreleased games in front of a diverse audience of professional developers, publishers, and investors in the games industry, and receive valuable feedback as well as opportunities for mentorship and partnerships.

Indie Machine is managed by Onerat Games and Sub-Zero Sound.

FMOD is an end-to-end solution for adding sound and music to any game. Build adaptive audio using FMOD Studio and play it in-game using the FMOD Engine. FMOD Studio is ready to use with Unity and Unreal. It can be easily integrated with other engines using the comprehensive API.

IGEA (Interactive Games & Entertainment Association) is the peak industry association representing the voice of Australian and New Zealand companies in the computer and video games industry. IGEA supports the business and public policy interests of the games industry, through advocacy, research and education programs. We work with many stakeholders including all levels of government, agencies, media and other trade associations.

Buzzworks is located on 11th street, a short Uber/Lyft or a 25-min walk from the Moscone.

Drinks can be purchased from the bar and external food can be brought into the venue.

BuzzWorks is SOMA's best craft beer & full spirits bar, also serving wine, cider, kombucha & more. Our 40 taps constantly rotate, paired with eye-popping entertainment on our 30 screens. We feature pinball, pool tables & good vibes."

The game showcase is upstairs in the mezzanine and is accessible only via stairs.

Buzzworks has wheelchair-accessible toilets on the ground floor.

Indie BYOG is an LGBTQI+-friendly organisation.

For the safety of everyone, all attendees will be required to register with a pre-purchased ticket.

This event is not affiliated with GDC or Informa, however, the same rules apply and inappropriate behaviour won't be tolerated. This means:
