Mavka is one of the forest lake’s nymphs, creatures shrouded in mystique and dangerous allure. When she meets Lukian, a gifted biology student, she is given a single task: to lure him to her lake, where mermaids and other nymphs await, ready to capture human souls. But instead of leading Lukian to his doom, Mavka falls in love with him. As her feelings deepen, she begins to realize that the mermaids will stop at nothing to keep her on the dark side.

Мавка — одна з німф лісового озера, істот, сповнених містики та небезпечної привабливості. Коли вона зустрічає Лук’яна, талановитого студента-біолога, перед нею стоїть лише одне завдання: привести його до свого озера, де русалки та інші німфи чатують, готові заволодіти людськими душами. Але замість того, щоб привести Лук’яна до загибелі, Мавка закохується в нього. Зі зростанням її почуттів вона починає усвідомлювати, що русалки підуть на все, аби втримати її на темному боці.
