Austin-based nonprofit organization Raasin in the Sun founded by creative placemaker and public art force Raasin McIntosh announces the next Public Workshop in their recently launched initiative ART for ALL on Sunday Nov. 16 at the Austin Central Library. The workshop will start at 12 p.m. and is free and open to the public and an opportunity for the local community to have input on these legacy murals. Through ART for ALL individuals experiencing housing or economic insecurity will collaborate on the mural panels and installations receive same-day pay and connect with essential services including behavioral health support employment resources shelter clothing and food. At the November 16 session speakers will include Austin's first poet laureate Zell Miller III and the executive team of Raasin in the Sun. To RSVP to the Nov. 16 workshop see here.
