Mark Farina is a global dance music icon whose name resonates across the scene. Known for his Mushroom Jazz series, deep house sets, and marathon all-night performances, Farina has built a career on innovation, consistency, and a relentless touring schedule of over 100 shows a year. He has collaborated with legendary venues and record labels, showcasing both classic and new school producers in his sets.
With his recent YouTube series with Defected Records and continued worldwide performances, Farina connects with both longtime fans and new audiences alike, delivering unforgettable journeys through house, jazz-infused grooves, and eclectic beats.
Supporting him is Wellington’s Benny Salvador — one of New Zealand’s most exciting young talents. A DJ, producer, multi-instrumentalist, radio host, and event promoter, Benny has shared stages with Marcellus Pittman and Courtesy and played major festivals including Splore, Beacon, and Catacombs. He has recorded mixes for Planet Trip Records, NTS, Balamii, Related Articles, and Friendly Potential Radio, and released music on Racquet Club, Rush Hour, Love Above Records, Juke Bounce Werk, and his own Aunty Records. Benny’s eclectic sets blend house, techno, disco-funk, dub, and electro, drawing on jazz and funk influences while showcasing his crate-digging, collaborative approach.
This is a rare chance to experience two generations of dance music mastery under one roof. From Farina’s world-renowned grooves to Benny’s forward-thinking, genre-spanning sets, the night promises a journey through sound that will move the floor and leave a lasting impression. For fans of house, jazz-infused beats, and cutting-edge underground sounds, this is a must-attend event at Meow Nui.
