This was one of the first meals my Greek father-in-law ever made for me, and it completely changed how I thought about homemade spaghetti. It’s simple, comforting, and full of flavor, the kind of dish meant to be shared. In this demo and hands-on experience, we’ll walk you through Aunt Athena’s Greek-style spaghetti, a family recipe passed down and gathered around for generations.
As we prepare the recipe step by step, we’ll share techniques, ingredients, and tips so you feel confident recreating it at home. You’ll also learn how to make creamy Italian sodas, adding a fun and interactive element that’s perfect for entertaining.
Hosted at Bekins Kitchen & Bath in Grand Rapids, this experience is about slowing down, learning together, and enjoying time around the table. There’s no pressure to cook everything yourself. Grab a friend or family member and come have fun in the kitchen with us.
