About this Event
What happens when your resources don’t meet the needs of the incident? Please join us for training designed to give responders a deeper understanding of the capabilities of their towing partners, and how towers can be an additional resource during incidents involving commercial vehicles, such as tractor trailers and tanker trucks with entrapments. Built around multiple hands-on scenarios involving actual vehicles, attendees work alongside towers during this course to better understand their expertise and what they add to the toolbox.
Topics covered will include:
- Incident command
- On-scene communication and coordination
- Tow company fleet and capabilities
- Tow company loose equipment
- Training received by heavy wrecker operators
- Multiple scenarios
Lunch will be provided during a one-hour break.
