Join us for our August WomenRISE: Uncover Your Money Narrative with Rashida Thomas, FinRose.

Uncover the roots of your financial beliefs and behaviors in this transformative workshop. Explore your unique money story, empowering you to take control of your financial narrative and make informed decisions for a secure financial future.

In-Person Attendance

In-person events will be held at Texas Woman's University, Denton Campus, Old Main Building, 2nd Floor, Rm 257.

Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., and the official program starts at 8:00 a.m. Come and network with other female entrepreneurs. Make sure you bring your business cards.

*It is a walk to the Old Main Building. You may consider wearing comfortable shoes to walk in and bring your dress shoes for the event.

Summer Parking Information

Park in the parking lot on the corner of Bell and College St. next to the Bellaire Apartments and in the parking lot directly across from it, which is part of the Multipurpose Classroom- Laboratory Building. Both are right across the street from the Old Main Building, where WomenRISE is. A parking permit will be emailed to you the night before the event. This permit must be displayed on your dashboard. We will have copies of the permit at registration as well.

Online Attendance

If you are attending online, you will receive the Zoom link to join. We will have an online host to help facilitate the event. We will continue to have pre/post-networking opportunities.

Networking before the event: 7:35-7:55 am

Networking after the event: 9:05-9:25 am

Official program: 8:00 - 9:00 am

**All registered attendees will receive the replay link after the event.**

Speaker Bio

Rashida Thomas is a finance and technology leader with experience in workforce

and digital transformation in Fortune 100 companies. Rashida uses a magnetic

form of storytelling to educate and evoke transformation through transparency.

Rashida earned an MA in Management and Leadership from Webster University

and an MBA from Lindenwood University. Early in her career, she served as an IT

Auditor before taking on an Adjunct Professor role and moving into Technology

leadership roles at GM Financial. Rashida runs her company, FinRose from Los

Angeles, and also serves as a GRC and IT Project Management Consultant. She is

currently enrolled in the Chopra Meditation Certification program.
