Oscar Wilde’s iconic comedy The Importance of Being Earnest returns in a fresh new vision - classic, stylish, and full of wit.We’re seeking performers aged 16+ to help bring this timeless story to life for a new audience. Whether you’re experienced on stage or keen to get involved for the first time, we’d love to see you audition.
As a community theatre production, this is a volunteer project - a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, develop acting and stagecraft skills, and work with a passionate team. Because this is a play rather than a musical, it’s also a great option for performers who want to focus on acting without needing to sing or dance.
Led by our young visionary director, this production promises to feel both fresh and timeless while celebrating all the sparkling wit and charm that has made Wilde’s comedy a classic for generations.
