Rockville Musical Theatre announces auditions for our production of A Year With Frog and Toad in partnership with Arts on the Green. Please see the full audition announcement at r-m-t.org/audition.Auditions will be held on Tuesday, April 1 from 7-10pm and Wednesday, April 2 from 7-10pm at Lakelands Park Middle School (1200 Main St, Gaithersburg, MD 20878). ALL ROLES ARE OPEN AND UNPAID. Auditions are open to performers ages 18+. All roles are open to actors of any race, ethnicity, body type, gender, and ability.
Callbacks will be held by invitation only on Saturday, April 5 from 2-5pm. Further details will be provided to those invited to callbacks.
This production will run July 11, 12, 18, 25 and 26 at 7:30 PM AND July 13, 20, 26*, and 27 at 2:00 PM at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn. *July 26 matinee will be at at 3:00 PM.
Singing: Please prepare a one-minute selection of a song that is similar to the character for which you are auditioning. Please do not sing a song from Frog and Toad. An accompanist will be provided at auditions. Please bring your clearly labeled sheet music in a book or a binder.
Dance: Arrive dressed to dance. Dance shoes (character shoes, ballet slippers, or jazz slippers) are recommended but not required.

For those unable to attend auditions. Virtual submissions will be accepted. Please send: a video of approximately 60 seconds of a song accompanied by a track with you slating your name and the song at the beginning, your resume and headshot, and a completed audition form to [email protected]. Virtual auditions must be submitted by Wednesday, April 2nd at 8pm.
