Auditions for Legally Blonde The Musical will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 23 and 24, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. each day, at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts. Callbacks, if required, will be held Sunday evening, May 24.

THE STORY: Elle Woods appears to have it all until her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend dumps her to attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. With the support of some new friends, Elle realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world, tackling stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. This musical is so much fun, it should be illegal!
Casting calls for performers of all vocal ranges, and auditions are open to performers age 16 and up. Those auditioning should prepare a memorized comedic monologue of no more than 60 seconds along with 32 measures of a song of their choice; they may either provide sheet music for the pianist or sing a capella.
Auditions will include a required dance component, so attendees should be dressed to move and wear closed-toed shoes. Please note that not every cast member has to be a strong dancer, and some characters may not dance at all; this is to allow the choreographer to identify strong dancers and gauge the ability level of the group.
Rehearsal schedules will be available at auditions; rehearsal attendance time commitments vary by role. Performances will be July 10-12, 2026, at the Glema Center.
All parts are open for audition except that of Brooke Wyndham, which has been cast. Please be advised that the show contains mild adult language and mature topics and themes, carrying a PG-13 rating.
