From the company that brought you the Harlem Renaissance Salon, we invite those of African-American descent to audition for Coalescence Theatre Project’s Juneteenth Cultural Celebration; a show dedicated to Black Joy. We hope to include a selection of songs, poetry/spoken word, monologues, and dance!Performances will be June 19 and 20, 2025

When: April 5; 10AM to 4PM and April 6, 2025 2PM to 6PM

What to prepare, if you would like to:
Music:
Vocal: Please prepare two (2) 36 bar cuts of songs you would like to perform. Bring two copies of sheet music.
Instrumental: If playing an instrument other than piano, please bring your instrument and be prepared to audition your full piece.
Dance:
For an originally choreographed piece, we ask that you have at least half the number prepared to audition with. If you are dancing, come dressed to move
Poetry/Spoken word:
Bring two pieces to audition with, regardless of if they are original works or recitations
Drama:
Monologues: No monologues exceeding 3 minutes, please. Please bring a physical copy of the monologue
Please limit your audition to two of the above mediums.
All genres/styles encouraged!
