Auditions: Guys & Dolls The Royal Theatre is proud to announce auditions for Guys and Dolls on April 25th, 2026! Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, Guys and Dolls is an oddball romantic comedy. Gambler, Nathan Detroit, tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck; meanwhile, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they've been engaged for fourteen years. Nathan turns to fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, for the dough, and Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown, as a result. Guys and Dolls takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up right where they belong.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 from 12p-5p at the First United Methodist Church in Benton, AR (200 N Market Street, Benton, AR 72015) inside of the Choir Room by appointment only; you will sign up for a time below. You will enter on the Conway Street side entrance. Auditions will consist of singing, approximately a 32 measure cut of music (about a verse and a chorus) in the similar style of the show. You'll need to provide a track for your song. NOTE: There will be an Invited Dance Call and Callbacks on the same night, Saturday April 25th; the location and time will be disclosed after each individual audition for those invited to callbacks.
