Theater of Death is in need of actors, technicians, designers, and back-stage crew to participate in their next production. The event, directed by Joe West, is themed 'Chupacabra!'; a series of locally written one-act plays inspired by the folk myth, accompanied by original live music. Auditions and interviews will take place at Phil Space Gallery 1410 2nd Street, Santa Fe, New Mexico, on November 11th and 12th at 5 pm. Rehearsals for the production will be Monday and Tuesday evenings the first two weeks of December, with a break during the holidays. Then starting up rehearsals again in January leading up to the opening at Teatro Paraguas on January 22nd, running until February 2nd. Compensation is available for actors and crew members. For auditions, a 1 to 2-minute prepared monologue would be great, along with readiness to perform a cold reading from scripts. Hispanic actors and non-hispanic, all genders 25-60 with comic timing
Crew:
Persons with lighting and back stage experience
Running crew which requires someone with just good people skills and enthusiasm.
