In 1996, teachers from Dolores Gonzales Elementary School in Albuquerque, NM organized the first La Cosecha Dual Language Conference. That year, 86 educators came together to explore, share best practices, and strengthen their professional networks.
Nearly three decades later, La Cosecha has become the largest dual language conference in the country. Each year, we bring together educators, parents, researchers, and practitioners who support dual language, two-way immersion, one-way developmental bilingual, and one-way heritage language immersion programs across the US.
