Reggie/Regina (Baritone); supporting lead role, also part of the chorus
Featured youth role, also part of the chorus

Auditioners should prepare a one-minute excerpt of an aria or art song, or a musical theater selection (e.g., Rodgers & Hammerstein) sung with classical technique.
An accompanist will be provided; please bring clearly marked sheet music. Recordings and a cappella auditions will not be accepted.
If you are new to opera auditions and unsure what to prepare, an art song is strongly recommended.
REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCES
We will hold up to ten music rehearsals in March and will schedule them based on auditionees’ availability. Then we will move into staging rehearsals beginning March 30. Staging rehearsals will take place four to five nights a week from 6 - 10 pm. We can be flexible with availability if we know conflicts early enough. These rehearsals are required for all:
Tech & dress rehearsals April 26-30 beginning at 6:00 pm
Performances May 1 & 2 @ 7:30pm, May 3 @ 2:00pm
*We recognize that many local choral singers have regular rehearsals on Monday and Tuesday evenings. We’re happy to work with/around those conflicts!
SYNOPSIS
Where there is water, there is life. Earth has proceeded through natural life cycles for eons under the watchful eye of the Water Goddess. But when contemporary land developers and a conservationist movement come to blows over a coastal river dam, the Water Goddess reminds everyone of the true, unrelenting powers of the natural world. WaterWorks is a new musical by Anice Thigpen, starring Siri Vik, Brian Haimbach, and Agnes Vojtko.
