🎭 Auditions for The May Queen’s CurseA Murder Mystery at the Black Dragon Den
The fires of spring are rising… and with them, a new mystery unfolds.
We’re casting for our next immersive murder mystery event, 🌿 The May Queen’s Curse, and we’re looking to welcome a few new faces into our troupe alongside our incredible core cast.
This will be a fun, low-pressure audition focused on improv, character interaction, and chemistry—not memorized lines. Come ready to play, react, and enjoy the experience.
⚔️ Note: We hold auditions regularly, and these sessions often double as improv-style training. Even if thou art not cast this time, it’s a great way to get involved and sharpen thy skills for future events.
🌿 Available Roles Include:
👑 The May Queen – Chosen to embody life and renewal… but something about the role has left her uneasy
🌙 The High Priestess – Keeper of ancient rites, calm and commanding
⚔️ The Queen’s Protector – Sworn to protect her… and failed
🌿 The Herbalist – Knows what heals… and what kills
👑💔 The Rival Heir – Believes the crown was rightfully hers
🕯️ The Outsider – Watching closely… and asking dangerous questions
Whether you’re an experienced performer or simply love stepping into character, we’d love to see what you bring to the table.

🕚 Time: 11:00am – 12:30pm
📍 Location: Captain Scurvy’s Black Dragon Den
⚠️ Limited roles available. Not all who audition will be cast—but strong performers may be invited to future events.
💰 Compensation & Commitment
This is a paid opportunity, with additional tips often received during performances.
Most months include one show, with occasional months featuring 2–3 events
Time commitment per event (~5 hours total):
🗓️ 1-hour rehearsal the week prior (receive character, review scenes, light run-through)
🎭 Event day (~4 hours): actors arrive at 4:00pm and typically finish around 8:00pm (may run slightly longer depending on guest interaction and photos)
