Show dates are:July 31-August 9th. It runs for two weekends.
Synopsis:
Set in a recognizable near-future world where advanced humanoid companions known as humebots have become part of everyday life, The Humebot follows Dr. Alex Monroe, a relationship therapist who has given up on human romance in favor of the predictability and emotional safety offered by artificial companions. Confident in the belief that humans are incapable of completely loving one another, Alex has built a carefully controlled life alongside a humebot partner. But when a mysterious new client arrives seeking advice about love and connection, Alex’s worldview begins to crack. As clients, friends, family, and unexpected revelations collide, The Humebot explores vulnerability, identity, loneliness, and the complicated nature of human connection through humor, heart, and dark comedy.
