Theatre 7 is hosting open auditions for "Sister Act: The Musical" on March 11 & 12 at 6 p.m. at Theatre 7, 131 N. Water St., Decatur.The cast includes 16 roles plus ensemble. Open to all experience levels and ages 16+. Full cast information: https://www.mtishows.com/full-cast-info/485.
Come prepared to sing a song that demonstrates your range. A pianist will be available to play sheet music; you can also bring a track on your phone or sing without accompaniment.
Performances will be May 23-24 and 29-31, 2026 at the Decatur Civic Center. Directed by Evan Miller and Timber Ziegler.

"Sister Act" is a disco-infused musical where a nightclub singer in the witness protection program hides out in a struggling convent. She finds her salvation with a sisterhood of tone-deaf nuns as they discover the divine can sometimes include sequins, gospel choirs, jazz hands, and a good key change.
