Synopsis
Set in the early 1980s, a time of cultural transformation and musical revolution, the story follows a young woman raised in a deeply conflicted household—by a hypocritical preacher father and an alcoholic, emotionally fragile mother. Having been sheltered and taught that being gay is a sin, she now finds herself torn between the beliefs she was raised with and the truth of who she is. As she struggles to accept her identity, she faces the fear of rejection from her friends and the challenge of reconciling her past with the person she is becoming..
