“Love on Broadway”
Audition Dates: Sunday, Dec. 14th and Monday Dec. 15th
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Place: Mary Godfrey Theatre
Possible Callbacks: Wednesday, Dec. 17th Time: 6:00 p.m.
Vocal audition: Please prepare 32 bars from any Broadway musical. We will have an accompanist available or you can bring an instrumental accompaniment. Please, no “A Capella” auditions.
Dance audition: Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes for the dancing/movement audition.
Reading audition: There will be a cold reading provided for this portion of the auditions.
Performance Dates: Friday Jan. 30th and Saturday Jan. 31st Curtain Times: 7:00 p.m. for both shows.
Cast: Six Fabulous performers – 3 Men and 3 Women
Cast members will act as Emcees in the production only. Not auction emcees.

This show is patterned off “The Men of Broadway” and “The Women of Broadway” that our team wrote and produced in 2023 and 2024.
It is a black box show. There will be no set. We will use black chairs, black boxes, black mic stands, etc.
Each performer will have a “basic black” costume that we will add costume pieces to for each number. We will work with each performer on their basic black costume. It can be pants, white shirt, black skirt, black dress (any length), leggings with a black shirt, tuxedos, etc.
The show consists of Three Acts, with Six Songs in each act. The acts will begin and end with a group number with all the songs in between either solos or duets. Every performer is guaranteed one solo.
The songs range from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific” to Kirkpatrick/Kirkpatrick’s “Something Rotten.”
Performers will not be auditioning for any certain part. The casting committee will assign the parts/songs according to your voice range and acting abilities.
