The Breakthrough Theatre Company will hold auditions for William Shakespeare's classic play, "A Midsummer Night's Dream", on the following dates and times:Saturday, March 28, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Sunday, March 29, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
*no appointments. Just show up anytime between the hours listed.
SYNOPSIS: In this adaptation by Lisa Davidson Hines, A Midsummer Night's Dream follows four Athenian lovers who flee into a magical forest, where fairy mischief and love potions cause romantic chaos, leading to mixed-up affections and a donkey-headed weaver, before Puck fixes everything, resulting in multiple weddings and a comical play performed for the Duke. The story intertwines the lovers' escapes with the fairy king Oberon's quarrel with Queen Titania, all resolved through Puck's magical mix-ups, culminating in restored harmony and joyous celebrations.
Auditions are open for actors aged 16 and up. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. If you've never been in a Breakthrough production, please bring a headshot, or recent face picture. Resumes are appreciated, but not mandatory.

Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m.
*you must be available for ALL performances. This play runs simultaneously with the Orlando Fringe Festival.
All roles are unpaid, but we collect tips at each performance that are divided amongst the performers.
