Join this group’s first event and enjoy (hopefully) a nice, fun day outside! I’ll be there and the host is super sweet Kari- a Silent Book Club regular! 😁An audiobook walking club!
Participants will bring an audiobook and headphones. Together club members will walk while individually listening to their own audiobooks.
There will be time before the walk to introduce yourself and the book you’re listening to. After the meeting feel free to stay and chat, but that part is not required! I’m looking at you introverts 😉
Leashed pets are welcome! Please bring a waste bag, just in case.
We will meet at White Oak Park Lake and start walking at 10am. One lap around the lake is one mile, depending on weather, hopefully we can do a couple laps. Feel free to also bring chairs and/or blankets to sit on while others complete their laps!
ALTERNATIVE WEATHER PLANS: if the weather once again does not allow us to meet outside, we will plan to walk at Eastland Mall.
