The Auckland Wooden Boat Festival sails back into the city from 13–15 March 2026 as part of Moana Auckland – New Zealand’s Ocean Festival!Celebrate the beauty, craftsmanship, and spirit of maritime heritage. Spread across four iconic waterfront venues – the Viaduct Events Centre, Jellicoe Harbour, the New Zealand Maritime Museum and the historic Percy Vos Heritage Boat Shed – the Auckland Wooden Boat Festival offers something for everyone. From beautifully restored classics to family friendly activities and live demonstrations, it’s a weekend-long celebration of our seafaring spirit, and it’s all free to enjoy.

Friday 13th March 4pm - 8pm
Saturday 14th March 10am - 5pm
Sunday 15th March 10am - 5pm
