The Mermaids synchronized swim team has a long tradition here in the foothills. Synchronized swimming combines the grace of dancers, the coordination and flexibility of gymnasts, the spirit of cheerleading, and the strength of water polo players into one beautiful and powerful sport.Practices are held in the evenings Monday through Thursday and some weekends. Meets are held on Wednesday evenings beginning in June and the league finals will be held in mid-July. New swimmers of all ages (6-18) are encouraged to join.
Swimmers must attend one of our pre-season Free Beginner Clinics or contact the coach to arrange a different time for a swim assessment ([email protected]). All swimmers and a parent are urged to attend Back in Sync. The meeting information is below.
