ATTILA THE STOCKBROKER’s early music punk band BARNSTORMER 1649 are celebrating 30 years together with five Northern dates in April, including this show in Leeds on the afternoon of Sunday 13th. Attila has invited his long-time fellow travellers and musical soulmates BLYTH POWER and punky young rail enthusiasts INDIGNATION MEETING along for the ride. To make a packed afternoon even more so he’ll be performing some of his latest and most topical poems in the changeovers. Soaring melodies, words which echo down through history, a substantial number of songs about trainspotting and, apparently, at least one poem about circumcision at 67; but don't let that put you off! Please come.This is an afternoon event, to allow time for folk to travel. The bar will be open from 1p.m, gig room open from 2p.m. A one-day only exclusive cask ale will be bought in especially for the event, supplied by Zapato Brewery. Delicious vegan food will be available on the day, supplied by Lisa. All ages welcome - children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are £12 in advance (subject to booking fee), if there's any left it will be £15 on the door.
