About this Event
Minneapolis Club Speaker Series: Attention, Intuition, and the Algorithm: Digital Wellness in the Age of AI
TUES MAR 10 | 11:30AM-1PM | THE MINNEAPOLIS CLUB
As AI systems grow more responsive to our preferences, behaviors, and patterns, the line between what we choose and what is chosen for us can quietly blur. How to you protect your mental health and wellness as the pace of change continues to accelerate?
A plated lunch will be served. This event is open to the public.
This session is a pause. A chance to look at how digital environments shape our attention, our judgment, and our sense of self-direction.
We’ll reflect together on what it means to stay mentally well — and intellectually whole — while working with systems designed to predict and persuade.
Hosted by James Holmberg and Sarah Anderson of VILAS, with guest guide Betsy Weiner, this session will hold space for structured perspective and open dialogue. We’ll explore:
– How to notice personalization before it becomes conditioning
– What digital wellness requires at a structural level
– How to think alongside AI without deferring to it
– Why attention is a resource worth protecting
Come to take a breath. To think a little more clearly about the systems you’re already inside. And to remember that you still set the terms.
Ticket price includes a plated lunch.
