Create your own tomato pin cushion at Brooklyn Roots Collective (255 Randolph Street) on Thursday February 26th at 7 PM with fabrics from Brooklyn Creative Reuse. Come sew and stuff your own tomato pin cushions to store your pins and needles or just display as soft sculpture. Fabric (courtesy of Brooklyn Creative Reuse!) will be provided on-site, along with sewing materials, and stuffing so guests can attend empty handed! The fun is accessible to those with any or no level of sewing experience. Teaching artists: Emma Singer and Maddie Pelz. Drinks will be available before, during and after class from Brooklyn Roots Collective's bar. You are welcome to stay after class to enjoy live music!
