Berlin-based Atomic Fruit combines dreamy, psychedelic rock with electronic beats and immersive soundscapes. With members from Sweden, France and Italy, the group formed in 2021 after a serendipitous meeting at a SUUNS concert and their energetic live shows quickly became a frequent spectacle of the Berlin underground scene. “The attention to sonic nuances and genre-bending character of the songs, along with beautifully structured melodies will definitely appeal to fans of "alt-j" and "Radiohead". The newly formed project Iris explores the synthesis of art-rock, electroacoustic, and electronic music through the intertwining of analog and digital instruments. Distorted, abrasive sounds contrast with restrained sonic textures, creating a dynamic synergy between harsh and gentle timbres. The band is set to release an EP later this fall, followed by a full-length album the coming year, while continuing to explore new ways to convey their artistic vision through performance.
