About this Event
Join us for an elevated evening of comedy where taste meets atmosphere. Bring your own wine, beer, or spirits, enjoy curated amenities, and experience a boutique-style comedy show crafted for those who appreciate comfort, flavor, and fun.
Jamie Shriner is a Chicago-based comedian, writer, and actress who uses sharp stand-up and original comedy songs to make sense of hearing loss, mental illness, body image, womanhood, and growing up queer in conservative Indiana. A former theatre kid, deaf, mentally ill gig-worker, Jamie brings a blunt point of view with a musical twist.
She is the creator and star of the acclaimed one-woman show Wife Material, praised for its distinctly female voice and original music, and was named Best of the Fest and sole recipient of the Road Scholar Award at the Big Pine Comedy Festival. Jamie is a regular feature at Zanies and Laugh Factory Chicago, hosts and produces Chicago Underground Comedy, and has opened for Beth Stelling, Randy Feltface, and Chrissy Chlapecka.
Her work has appeared in The Onion (Features Contributor), and she’s performed everywhere from The Lincoln Lodge to The Laugh Factory and The Laughing Tap. Jamie holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Millikin University and an MA from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
