About this Event
Our Adult Learn to Ride courses are for adults (16+) who are new to cycling or who have not ridden for some time and would like to regain confidence.
Course description
The course will give you the skills and confidence required to ride a bike with pedals independently.
The course will teach you how to:
- Fit a helmet
- Mount & dismount the bike
- Balance
- Steer
- Brake
- Pedal
All sessions are held outdoors in a traffic free area.
Dates/Times
Please note that this course runs over three separate sessions and you must be able to attend all three dates.
Each session will start at 18:30 and last an hour, ending at 19:30

Equipment
Don’t worry if you don’t have your own bike or helmet to use for the course. Green Light Cycling have a variety of adult sized bikes and helmets available to borrow.
Please indicate when booking if you need to borrow either a bike and/or helmet.
