About this Event
The American College of Surgeons Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Course emphasizes the rapid initial assessment and primary management of the injured patient, beginning at the time of injury and continuing through initial assessment, lifesaving intervention, reevaluation, stabilization and transfer to a trauma center. This course consists of pre- and post- course exams, core content lecture, interactive case presentation, discussion, development of lifesaving skills, practical laboratory experience and a final performance proficiency evaluation. Upon completion of the course, physicians should feel confident in implementing the skills taught in the ATLS course.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations will be considered if requested at least 30 days prior to the course. You will be responsible for any registration/cancellation fees charged by Eventbrite.
Every effort will be made to provide the course on the posted dates. We do reserve the right to cancel the course if needed. A refund will be provided for the course fee excluding any Eventbrite fees.
CME
The American College of Surgeons is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. CME is provided by the American College of Surgeons, A.T.L.S.® division, upon successful completion of the course.
CME hours vary by course type. The sponsor cannot guarantee CME hours for any courses.
