About this Event
Atlanta Way Day, presented by Atlanta Way 2.0, in partnership with The Tara Theatre, Neighborhood Nexus, and Hands On Atlanta, provides a platform for individuals and organizations to spotlight challenges or critical needs in Metro Atlanta.
This initiative reflects the core mission of Atlanta Way 2.0: to connect, collaborate, and convene, inspiring more people to join the movement and drive collective action.
The event on September 25, 2025 will launch with a Keynote Panel discussing Atlanta's current ranking of 50th out of 50 in Upward Economic Mobility, and the urgency for our region to come together and address this challenge. Charlotte, NC, was able to jump from 50th to 38th in the same study. We welcome Sherri Chisholm of Leading on Opportunity in Charlotte to share how they responded to the wake-up call, created a plan of action, and improved outcomes through strategic collaboration.
We will also hear how our region plans to tackle this challenge from the leaders of the Atlanta Regional Commission, the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, United Way of Greater Atlanta, and the Metro Atlanta Chamber.Four additional projects from the community will be selected from community submissions to share their collaborative work. Audience members ask questions, engage with each presenter, and leave with actionable ways to help improve our region.
