About this Event
On Sunday, April 6, NAAAP will be hosting a casual meetup at the Atlanta Persian Festival at Piedmont Park. We will have a tent set up with our NAAAP Atlanta banner by 11:00AM, as a gathering spot for both members and non-members to socialize, relax, and enjoy the festival together for a few hours. We will plan to be on the Meadow near 10th street and Charles Allen Drive.
The Atlanta Persian Festival celebrates Nowruz, the Persian New Year, and Sizdah Bedar, the end of new year festivities- marking the arrival of spring and a time of renewal, joy, and community. Rooted in traditions over 3,000 years old, Nowruz is a time for gathering, sharing delicious food, enjoying music and dance, and embracing Persian culture.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, as we’ll be enjoying the festival’s atmosphere. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from on-site vendors.
