Your ATA Region 109 regional camp plans are underway. This camp is hosted by GM Dan Thor, CM Ramsey Cross, CM Corina Black, CM Joel Bass and SM Patty Lorenz. All are working hard for our region and this camp. CM Black is your point person for registrations, both camp and regional testing.
COST: $150 PER CAMPER
A $20 late fee goes into effect on March 1, 2026.

FRIDAY AGENDA:
4:45 pm Check in, pick up your t-shirt.
5:30 pm Workout with Grand Master Thor - all camper welcome workout. WEAR WHITE UNIFORMS. A group photo will be taken.
6:30 pm Testing check-in
6:45 pm Regional Black Belt Testing (Testers must pre-register with CM Black by Friday, MARCH 6. Must have instructor permission.
Camp dismissal at conclusion of Testing.

SATURDAY AGENDA: Doors open at 8:00 am (check in - get your t-shirt)
Line Up/Bow In: 8:45 am (wear camp t-shirt and black pants)
CAMP SEMINARS WILL INCLUDE: (rotations) SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Taekwondo Technique/Boards
Gumdo Sword Training (sword handling, colored belt form, black belt form tips)
Ssahng Knat Weapon training (colored belt form and black belt form tips)
LUNCH (ON YOUR OWN)
Afternoon will include:
SPARRING AND COMBAT DRILLS AND ACTUAL SPARRING. Team tournament rules and procedures will be reviewed. Team sparring and combat training, coaching, competing and more (including a fun mini tourney event where athletes will spar, judge, time keep or score keep) Something for everyone.
Small group black belt FORM reviews with selected regional staff.
Additional training areas may be added.
BRING FULL GEAR, WEAPONS, WATER BOTTLE, SACK LUNCH, SNACKS. ATTIRE BLACK ATTIRE (WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO WEAR YOUR CAMP SHIRT)
