About this Event
Join The Woodson African American Museum of Florida for a special edition of At the Feet of the Elders, a powerful oral history series celebrating the voices of St. Petersburg’s elders. Through firsthand stories and reflections, this series preserves local African American history and connects generations through lived experience.
Hosted in partnership with the President Barack Obama Main Library, this program invites the community to listen, learn, and honor the wisdom of those who have shaped our city’s past and present.
This month, we will be learning about the lives of Council Member Deborah Figg-Sanders, Commissioner René Flowers, and Mayor Kenneth Welch.
