Astronomy is an observational science, but not restricted to only telescopes any more. You can learn about sun-earth connections, planets, stars and galaxies with apps on your mobile phone. A 3-day workshop has been organised for high school students, where selected Astronomy apps will be introduced with basic science concepts necessary to understand the techniques.
