Astron Club presents a night dedicated to immersive deep techno, bringing together artists whose work navigates the outer edges of hypnotic sound and atmospheric intensity. Claudio PRC is a Sardinian-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer whose work bridges deep techno with electroacoustic exploration and cosmic atmospheres. Active since 2006, he has developed a singular hypnotic sound shaped by studies in Music and New Technologies and a long-standing fascination with Detroit techno. His releases span seminal labels including Prologue, Semantica, Delsin and The Gods Planet, the imprint he co-founded. In 2020 he launched 012, a multidisciplinary platform for collaborative sound research and curated events across Europe. Known for immersive, spatially rich DJ sets and live performances, Claudio PRC remains a defining voice of contemporary hypnotic techno and a resident of Berlin’s Tresor.
Polar Inertia formed in 2010, operating at the intersection of deep techno, ambient and experimental sound. Conceived as a multidisciplinary entity, their work extends beyond music into visual art, installation and text, forming a monochrome, fog-shrouded conceptual universe. Since their debut Indirect Light on Dement3d, Polar Inertia have cultivated a singular sonic language of drifting textures, cavernous space and hypnotic pulse. Their rare live performances presented at institutions and festivals such as Palais de Tokyo, Atonal and Berghain, unfold as immersive environments where sound, narrative and obscured identity converge. Polar Inertia remain one of the most enigmatic and distinctive voices within contemporary hypnotic techno.
Fergus Sweetland is a Melbourne-born, London-based DJ, producer and label head whose work explores the outer edges of rhythm-driven techno. His sound is defined by warped groove, tactile texture and low-end pressure. Blends playful asymmetry with hypnotic repetition, creating tracks that feel both physical and cerebral. Emerging from Melbourne’s club scene in the early 2010s, he later refined his focus through close ties with the HAYES collective, releasing a sequence of EPs that trace a path from minimal, off-kilter cuts to deeper atmospheric forms. In 2024 he launched Pressure Systems, a platform for boundary-pushing club music. As a DJ, his elastic, narrative style has carried him across Europe, Asia and Australia, including appearances at London’s Fold.
Alex Tomb is a Cypriot DJ, producer and label head known for deeply immersive, long-form sets that move fluidly across hypnotic, emotive and atmospheric techno. Shaped by early residency at Klubd in Nicosia and a long-standing role within Berlin’s STAUB community since 2013, his approach balances precision, adaptability and narrative flow. His productions span labels including 012 and Maeve, while his own imprint Capparis Spinosa serves as a platform for open-ended sonic exploration and collaboration. Having performed at venues such as Tresor and Kantine am Berghain, Alex Tomb continues to refine a sound rooted in depth, patience and evolving dancefloor storytelling.
