ASTROLOGY WORKSHOP New Plymouth with Kāren Hunter.Astrology is a powerful tool for self discovery using archetypes, mythology and curiosity.This will be a lively, fun and interactive workshop catering for different levels of Astrological wisdom and expertise.
We will explore astrology through a combination of information and embodied activities suitable for all ages and levels of experience.
Beginners will get a solid introduction to some fundamental concepts while discussing the present transits in relation to our lives and the world around us.
People who already understand the basics of this ancient art form will be invited to offer their own understandings and answers to the many questions that will arise from our conversations.
Everyone will have a chance to share knowledge and ask questions.
This is a great way to learn about your chart to help you with your personal study and understanding of the basics of Astrology.
As an experienced workshop facilitator, Kāren is able to draw on the wisdom and insights of the group so collective intelligence can emerge.
You might like to bring your own birth chart if you have one. You could generate a free chart from www.astro.com before the workshop.

----------------The structure of the workshop will be :
12:30-2pm = session one (90 mins)
2-2:30pm break = 30 mins
2:30 - 3:45 pm = session two (75 mins).

ABOUT YOUR HOST
Kāren Hunter is a Pakeha New Zealander of Cornish, Irish and Scottish descent who grew up in Tamaki Makaurau. Kāren’s
offerings of Music, Astrology and Ceremony are intended to contribute to the present awakening of humanity. Kāren is also a Zenergy Global trained facilitator and can hold dynamic space with sensitivity.
Kāren’s primary healing modality is music and this includes workshops, lessons, festival performances, shamanic sound journeys and ceremony. Karen is also a consulting astrologer and tarot reader. She combines these two passions into weekly videos she calls ‘Astro Musical Interventions’ and these are posted on her Substack, Facebook and Instagram pages.
