IWMF is an experimental synth fusion band from Berlin formed in 2023. Its members - Simon Franzkowiak (keys, samples), Felix Knöppel (bass), Stephan Michalik (drums) - have been active in the Berlin music scene since about 25 years. During this time, all three have taken different paths through the music landscape and gained experience in different musical styles. With IWMF they are combining their skills for the first time to creating a wild mixture of jazz, rock, pop, electronic and classical music.
