This spring event showcases the best short films from emerging student filmmakers across the United States.
Experience a diverse lineup of narrative, documentary, animation, and experimental films—all under 20 minutes—curated by a dedicated team of Cornell students. Beyond the screenings, enjoy opportunities to network with filmmakers, engage with industry professionals, and savor great food in a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. With a panel of non-student judges selecting and awarding the top films in each category, Aster Film Festival is your chance to connect, celebrate, and be inspired by the next generation of filmmakers.
