About this Event

Get ready for an empowering day of financial enlightenment at the ABC Academy One Day Teen Financial Literacy Summit!

Attention Teens aged 12–18 and their adult guardians (parent, friend, cousin, neighbor, mentor, sibling, or trusted community member aged 18+)! Join us on Saturday, April 11, 2026 for a transformative journey into the world of finance, where you’ll unlock the keys to financial success and independence.

This summit is designed as a shared learning experience, bringing teens and trusted adults together to explore important financial concepts that shape lifelong economic well-being.

Using the Malik’s First Job curriculum, we will explore crucial topics such as Job Search & Interviewing Skills, Entrepreneurship, Budgeting, Assets, Liabilities, Debt Management, Philanthropy, Investing, and Navigating Financial Institutions. This isn’t your average seminar — it’s an interactive, youth-focused experience packed with engaging workshops, delicious breakfast and lunch, valuable resources, and plenty of surprises to keep you engaged all day long!

We’re not just teaching financial literacy; we’re breaking generational mindsets around money and empowering young people to take control of their financial future.

Participation is completely COMPLIMENTARY (with the request that those who register demonstrate a COMMITMENT TO ATTEND).


Registration Guidelines

Learning experiences are designed for youth ages 12–18 attending with an adult chaperone (parent, guardian, or trusted adult such as a neighbor, mentor, family member, or community member aged 18+).

  • Individual registrations may include up to four teens per adult chaperone.
  • Adults wishing to attend with more than four teens must complete a Group Registration.
  • Group registrations are reserved for official and established youth groups or programs and must maintain a 1:6 chaperone-to-youth ratio.
  • All group registrations must be coordinated through Shevelle Montgomery at .

Any minor attending without their parent or legal guardian present must have a signed permission slip and liability waiver submitted prior to registration confirmation.
